According to very probably Mossad sources, Osama bin Laden has been in a small town outside the capitol of Iran for the past five years.

This worldclass intelligence information was leaked to the US and others at this time for obvious reasons. Israel has become a worldclass pariah in the eyes of the world community because of their handling of the ships that tried to break the Gaza blockade. Turkey is thinking about pressing that issue to the point of making it a flashpoint for regional war.

Israel, by throwing this flash-bang onto the world stage refocuses attention on Iran at the same time the UN nuclear agency bulldog Yukiya Aamano, who hates nukes in every possible way, is saying officially that Iran has not provided enough information to assure the world that they are not developing nuclear weapons.

So… if the news about Osama is true, and there is no way to be certain that it is… Israel has given casus belli for both themselves and/or the United States to make a military move against Turkey and/or Iran. Most likely both. Because even if not true, Turkey has thrown its weight behind Hamas in Gaza, and come 180 degrees from its pro-Western stance. Whether or not they are allied with Iran in this Osama thing, they are sure to be seen as part of the Iran-Syria-Lebanon-(and possibly North Korea) alliance against both Israel and the West (read United States).

Another flotilla of ships is being gathered for a much larger attempt to break the Gaza blockade. Turkey is greatly involved. Turkish sea, air and land forces… the land forces being of particular note… have gathered to some extent (details are not solid) in Cyprus. Northern Cyprus has deep ties to Turkey, to the extent they could be seen as almost part of Turkey, or as a Turkish commonwealth. This is why the flotilla gathered there before heading to the blockade. They were fully supported by Turkey.

So there are several possible flashpoints for war at this time. US moving against Osama’s hideout in Iran. Israel doing the same thing. Both doing it, and perhaps taking down Iranian nuclear facilities as they do it. Turkey sending warships along with the next blockade breakers. Turkey sending warships, air and land forces if the next blockade ships are stopped and boarded.

Or some part of the Lebanon-Syria-Iran-North Korea amalgam deciding it’s better to attack rather than wait to be attacked. Or simply put the war machine they have built into operation because they want to.

Note well that the stock market DOW is heading downhill quickly. I see that as a prerequisite to war. It gets people afraid for their 401(k) and in the mood to support whatever the government wants. And of course there is the Great Oil Spill, that tells us we must look elsewhere to satisfy our great addiction to gasoline.
